Our society is also a registered charity with Revenue Canada, and welcomes your generous donations!
KSLL (Kootenay Society for LifeLong Learning) was born on Feb 7, 2005 as the International School of the Kootenays Society. In 2009 we changed the name and purpose from: International School of the Kootenays
Purpose: To offer international and intergenerational education that celebrates the human spirit and fosters a lifelong love of learning, as outlined by Dr. Rudolf Steiner (Austrian Philosopher and Visionary 1865-1925)
to: Kootenay Society for LifeLong Learning
Through fostering lifelong learning we celebrate the universal human spirit by developing and supporting learning experiences that awaken and engage human potential.
Our society engages with the advancement of Peace and Social Justice through the creation and support of not for profit courses, seminars, projects and workshops for high school learners, community members and international guests.
